Victim punched and racially abused at traffic lights in Wakefield

A man was punched in the face and racially abused when he stopped at a set of traffic lights.

The victim first stopped after he saw a man driving a Jaguar making offensive hand gestures at him as he drove along Dewsbury Road.

When he stopped at the traffic lights, close to the Shell Garage, the attacker got out of his car and punched his victim in the face through an open window.

He then racially abused him and damaged some items in the victim’s Toyota Yaris.

The suspect was driving a Jaguar.

And the incident took place at around 12.15pm on Friday, August 9.
