Police have released an e-fit of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a sneak-in burglary.
Three men knocked on the door of 52-year-old woman’s home offering to carry our repairs.
One of the suspects, pictured, spoke to the woman while to the other two went into the back of the house on Walton Lane, Walton.
The incident took place at about 4pm on Sunday, April 13, three men approached the home of a 52 year old woman on Walton Lane, offering to undertake repairs.
PC Sue Marshall of Wakefield CID is investigating the incident and said:
“While one of the men spoke to the victim, the other two men entered the dining room via an insecure door and stole a mobile phone. They all subsequently made off on foot.
“I would like to hear from anyone who recognises the individual in the e-fit or remembers seeing these men in the area at the time. Likewise, I would like to hear from anyone else locally who has been approached in this manner.”
