Motorists faced delays after a double decker bus was involved in a collision with a lorry.

The vehicles collided near Marsh Way roundabout at about 3.30pm on Wednesday.

Police said nobody was injured.

The incident happened hours after a pedestrian was involved in a collision with a car on Doncaster Road.

There were long tailbacks in the city after police closed the road in both directions between Sugar Lane junction and Denmark Street junction.

Police said the pedestrian was taken to Leeds General Infirmary.

Doncaster Road reopened at around 6pm.
