Fun runners will be tackling a course with a difference in Pontefract Park next month.
The first bubble fun run on Sunday, July 10 is a joint event between the Prince of Wales Hospice and Wakefield Hospice.
People taking part will be sprayed with colourful and foamy bubbles at checkpoints along with 2.5k or 5k course.

Organisers of the event - which is sponsored by Haribo, Guy Salmon Land Rover, Trinity Walk and the Wakefield Grammar School Foundation - are hoping to raise more than £40,000 for patient care at the two hospices.

Michelle Foulks, events fundraising co-ordinator at the Prince of Wales, said: “The Bubble Fun Run is a fantastic new event for us and Wakefield Hospice. The event is open to all ages and abilities so is great for families, as well as runners wanting to take on a challenge. We hope that many more people will join us for this fun run with a difference.”
