From Outwood to Nashville - Chippy owner Tony set to live his dream

Fish and chip shop owner Tony Fascione could be competing against the usual line up of X-Factor singers and born again boy bands for the coveted Christmas number.

Mr Fascione, who runs Tony’s of Outwood, on Leeds Road, is releasing his own country and western style song, This Christmas Time.

The 37-year-old has been singing since he was a boy and has now been signed to 360 Artists Development.

Next year he is heading to the home of country music, Nashville, Tennessee, to record with other artists.

But until then he is concentrating on building his fan base at home.

On Thursday night he will be playing The Hop in Wakefield.
