Setting the budget will be the main item on the agenda at Wakefield Council’s next cabinet meeting.
And people are invited to have their say about where the money will be best spent.
The council must make £27m worth of savings in 2016/17 and its cabinet will discuss the proposals for cutting costs and delivering services.
Residents can come along to hear the debate and out their questions to cabinet members.
And people watching live online at www.wakefield.gov.uk/yoursay can also tweet in questions to @MyWakefield.
Council leader Coun Peter Box, said: “We’re continuing to run our Cabinet on Tour events to make it easier for residents to come along and take part.
“The next cabinet meeting in Castleford is particularly important as we will have to make some very difficult decisions as we discuss our budget for the forthcoming year.”
The meeting will take place on February 16 at Castleford Civic Centre, Ferrybridge Road, at 10.30am.
If the cabinet agrees the report, the budget will be presented at a full council meeting on March 2.
