A TV talent star is returning to her roots for a special jubilee event on Monday.
Frances Wood, who shot to fame on BBC’s The Voice, will be the special guest star at Wrenthorpe Community Association’s fun day, which runs from 11.30am until 4.30pm.
The 18-year-old songbird from Barnes Avenue, Wrenthorpe, is expected to be doing some compering for the event from about 1pm.
Other attractions include majorette troupes, a tug of war, refreshments, school and sports groups, zumba, food and drink.
The fun day takes place in Wrenthorpe Village Hall and on the recreation ground at the bottom of Silcoates Lane.
