BUS SHELTER SEATING: Some older members of Hall Green Community are upset about the removal of the seating in the bus stop outside Hall Green Community Centre on Painthorpe Lane. They need this seating while waiting for the bus and wonder why it has been removed.

CHARITY FUN DAY: Crigglestone Sports Club are holding a charity fun day on bank holiday Sunday, August 28, in aid of Cancer Research UK. There will be a barbecue, bouncy castle, rides etc. Evening entertainment from motown duo ‘The Realistics’. Everything kicks off at 12 midday, all welcome, please go along and support this worthwhile cause.

HALL GREEN UNITED: Hall Green United continue their pre-season friendlies tonight when they entertain AFC Emley with a 7pm kick off. On Wednesday they start their West Riding County Amateur Premier Division campaign at home to Kirkburton FC, kick off 6.30pm.

HALL GREEN UNITED JUNIORS: Hall Green are recruiting new players for the upcoming season. They have Teams at most age groups with the U17’s, U15’s U13’s and U11’s looking for players to bolster the squads for the RCD Hudderfield league campaigns. The Hudderfield league is one of the best in the country and teams are of a very high standard, any player wanting a real test, this is the league to play in.
