A Lithuanian man accused of murdering a fellow countryman in Eastmoor has had his case adjourned.
Tomas Riauka, 33, is accused of killing Linas Kuedaras, 29, at Marsland Avenue, Eastmoor, on Friday, May 18.
Mr Kuedaras was found with stab wounds and was taken to Pinderfields Hospital where he later died.
Riauka, also of Marsland Avenue, was expected to enter a plea to the charge today (Friday) at Leeds Crown Court.
But Simon Bickler QC, defending, asked for the case to be adjourned.
The Recorder of Leeds, Judge Peter Collier QC, agreed and remanded Riauka in custody until September 28.
