Pharmacy opening times for Bank Holiday Monday have been announced by district health bosses.
Boots, on Upper Kirkgate, Wakefield will be open from 9am-5pm.
Lloyds Pharmacy, at Trinity Medical Centre, on Thornhill Street, will be open from 10am-2pm.
Sainsbury’s Pharmacy, at the Trinity Walk shopping centre, will be open from 9am-7pm.
Asda, on Asdale Road, will be open from 9am-6pm.
Exel Chemist, on High Street, Normanton, will be open from 9am-6pm.
Lloyds Pharmacy, on High Street, Normanton, will be open from 10am-2pm.
Kathryn Hilliam, West Yorkshire head of primary care for NHS England, said: “Your local pharmacy can help you with more than you might think. Pharmacists offer expert, confidential advice and treatment for many minor health problems.
“And remember to order any medication you need in plenty of time so that you have a good supply during bank holidays.”
