Burglars steal elderly woman's wedding ring

Burglars broke into an elderly woman's home and stole her engagement and wedding rings.

The two suspects entered her house on Durkar Low Lane at around 12.35pm on Bank Holiday Monday, whilst the 87-year-old victim was outside.

They took her engagement ring, a gold watch, gold wedding ring and gold necklace before escaping on a red and white moped.
