A DAD has pleaded guilty to the manslaughter of his six-week-old son.
Mohammed Ismail Malik died on January 7 last year after being rushed to hospital by paramedics.
His dad, Shakeel Hussain, 25, was due to stand trial for murder at Manchester Crown Court on Monday.
But Hussain pleaded guilty to unlawfully killing his son.
The charge against Ismail’s mother, Rabeel Malik, 23, of allowing or causing a child to die, was dismissed at an earlier hearing.
Ismail’s parents had recently moved from College Grove, Wakefield, to Heaton in Bolton when their baby died.
