Animal competitions, show jumping and stunt performances will be on offer at today’s Emley Agricultural Show.
The show returns for its 121st year with showground attractions for visitors of all ages.
Classes and competitions will be held through the day including cattle, goats, show jumping, gymkhana, cookery, photography and wood carving.
Daring bike squad Savage Skills will entertain crowds with an impressive stunt show and an interactive visitor experience area.
The team has eight world championship and more than 25 British championship titles.
Essex Dogs Display Team, whose director Roy Dyer is renowned for his work in the canine world, will perform agility stunts and also in the main arena will be Emley Band, a birds of prey rescue team, family games and races, and a vintage tractor parade.
Other attractions include fairground rides, a mini motor show, bouncy castles, Punch and Judy puppet show and craft demonstrations including wool spinning.
There will also be trade stands and food and craft marquees.
Last year around 15,000 visitors passed through the gates and organisers are hoping to top that number this year.
The first classes start at 8am and family attractions begin at 11am. Adult tickets cost £8 in advance or £10 on the day. Children under 16 go free.
The show takes place directly beneath Emley Moor mast at Factory Farm.
