A charity beer festival will be raising a glass and funds for good causes this weekend.
Wakefield Festival of Beer opens to the public at 5pm on Friday and runs all day Saturday.
The event at The Space on Waldorf Way has been organised by Sitlington and District Round Table.
It will raise funds for Levi’s Star – a charity which helps children with brain tumours in Yorkshire – and Wakefield Riding for the Disabled.
Wakefield Festival of Beer runs from 5pm to 11pm today.
There are two public sessions on Saturday: noon until 4pm, and 5pm to 11pm.
Tickets cost £5. For more information, including a full beer list, visit www.wakefieldfestivalofbeer.co.uk.
And you can have a free half on us, just cut out the voucher on page 65 of Friday’s Wakefield Express.
