A little girl had to be freed by firefighters after getting her legs stuck in railings.
The seven-year-old became stuck in the railings outside the Premier shop in Balne Lane at about 3.30pm.
Her mum rang 999 and firefighters and an ambulance went to the scene.
Crew commander David Kemp from Wakefield fire station said: “She was playing and swung her legs into the railings, and they got stuck.
“She was standing up with her legs stuck.
“We cut through two railings and her legs were okay.
“She was a bit stressed and a bit cold but she was quite happy once we got her released.”
