The aim is to enable residents to live independently for as long as possible, with reduced need for large care packages.

Frickley Mews is an alternative choice to traditional residential care by offering independent living with care.

The development offers stylish self-contained apartments, a restaurant, a lounge for socialising, an activity room and a hairdressers and beauty suite. Facilities are also open to the community.

The project has been funded by Chevin Housing, part of the Together Housing Group, Wakefield Council and the Regional Growth Fund, and has been delivered by Wates Living Space Homes.
