A ROCK group which claimed world-wide fame after winning Eurovision will play in a city music venue.

Finish band Lordi will perform at Warehouse:23 on Smyth Street in May as one of only six gigs in the UK.

The rejuvenated rockers were the shock winners of the 2006 Eurovision Song Contest.

Their performance will be part of their comeback Tour Beast Or Not Tour Beast shows after a two year break.

Lordi will perform their contest-winning song Hard Rock Hallelujah, which scored the most points in Eurovision history.

The gig will be on Monday, May 6.

Tickets, costing £16.50, are now on sale and available from.seetickets.com
