A TEENAGE girl was attacked by a man who tried to steal her mobile phone.
The 14-year-old was walking along Flanshaw Lane last night (Tuesday) at 8.45pm when the suspect grabbed her from behind.
She screamed for help and her attacker ran off empty handed.
He was skinny, around 5 ft 7ins tall and was in his late teens to early 20s.
He had short dark hair and was wearing a black coat.
