VIDEO: Age simulation suit used to train hospital staff

Waiting for Video...

An age simulation suit is being used at hospitals across the district to help staff understand the effects different ailments can have on elderly people.

The suit, which simulates arthritis, Parkinson’s disease, visual impairment and deafness, is being used at Pontefract, Pinderfields and Dewsbury hospitals.

Our reporter Sam Cooper went along to try the suit for himself.

See this week’s Express to see how he got on.
