Wakefield Cathedral to host BBC’s Songs of Praise show

15th May 2012. Archaeologists carry out excavation work inside Wakefield Cathedral, as part of the multi-million pound redevelopment scheme.

WAKEFIELD Cathedral wil host two episodes of the BBC’s Songs of Praise this year.

Filming is likely to take place on Friday and Saturday, April 12 and 13.

And the two programmes will be screened in April and August.

Entrance is free but must be booked in advance.

The cathedral office would like to know how many regular members of the congregation are interested in attending the sessions.
