PROSTITUTES from Wakefield are featured on a controversial website that allows men to give them ratings.
Californian-based Punternet hit the national headlines this week when it was condemned by Labour’s deputy leader Harriet Harman.
She called for California’s governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to shut down the site, but the move is believed to have made it more popular than ever after a letter was published on the site by its administrators thanking her for all the extra hits it had received.
The site advertises the services of scores of prostitutes from across West Yorkshire, including Wakefield, Castleford, Ponte-fract, Leeds and Dewsbury.
It includes contact details and invites men to describe the experience thay have had with a particular prostitute and whether they would recommend her to other ‘punters’.
