Poppies and Peace from 10am until 12pm at Chantry Chapel Wakefield

Open afternoon from 1pm until 3pm at Chantry Chapel Wakefield

Young children’s teddy bear’s picnic from 1pm until 3pm at Upton Community Library

Sports and games from 12pm until 4pm at Nostell Priory

Speed drawing from 11am until 4pm at The Hepworth Wakefield

Make bunting and musical instruments at the National Coal Mining Museum

Mythical maze fun from 2pm until 5pm at Knottingley Library (children aged four to 11)

Revolting recipes cooking course from 10am until 11.30am at Ossett Library (children aged eight and above, booking needed)

Under five story time from 10.30am until 11am at Ossett Library and from 11.15am until 11.45am at Sandal Library

Learn to knit and cross stitch from 2pm until 3pm at Sandal Library (children aged eight and above, booking needed)

Wii challenge from 2pm until 3pm at Sandal Library

Family fun activities from 11am until 3pm at Pontefract Castle

Create colourful collages on record discs from 11am until 2pm at The Orangery (children aged three to 10 when accompanied by an adult, booking needed)

Summer play scheme from 9.30am until 3.30pm every week day at SESKU Academy, Burntwood Community Centre, South Kirkby (children aged eight to 13)

Children’s corner with books, colouring, games, dressing up and the labyrinth from 9am until 4pm at Wakefield Cathedral

Pet workshop at 2pm at Pets at Home Wakefield
