Yorkshire greats recreate famous Vanity Fair shot
Former Wakefield Trinity chairman Sir Rodney Walker and Pride of Britain winner Danielle Bailey MBE were among those who turned out to The Ridings shopping centre for the shoot.
It re-creates Vanity Fair magazine’s yearly ‘Hollywood’ covershot by Annie Leibovitz to celebrate our county’s special day on August 1.

“All those involved in the shoot are well-known for making a real difference in the district and we thought that the iconic Vanity Fair image that captured Hollywood’s greats was very fitting.”
Sir Rodney Walker, Lizzie Jones, Kate Hardcastle, Danielle Bailey, Nick Scruton, Ciara Patchett, Sharon Watson, Stephanie Hirst, Dani Swaine and Jen Waite adorned two giant chairs. They were specially commissioned by The Ridings and will stay in the centre for people to pose with.
