Accidents causing delays on M1 and M62 motorways
A serious accident has closed the M1 northbound between J46 at Austhorpe, and J47 at Parlington. A diversion is in place. Traffic is leaving at J46 via the A63 eastbound, for the A656 and rejoining the carriageway at J47. The motorway is congested back to junction J44 at Rothwell.
An accident is also blocking one lane of the M62 eastbound between J28 at Tingley, and J29 at Lofthouse.
Fog is also causing problems on the M62 between J33 at the Ferrybridge Services, and J38 at North Cave.
