Body found in Wakefield river near Hepworth gallery

A BODY has been found in the River Calder close the Hepworth Wakefield gallery.
Specialist underwater search officers from West Yorkshire Police recovered the body of a man from the water off Thornes Lane at around 11am today.
Detectives said there were no suspicious circumstances.
The body will be formally identified later today and a post mortem will be carried out to confirm the cause of death.
A spokesman for the police said it was not believed to be Kieron O’Sullivan, 63, who has been missing from his home in Wrenthorpe for three weeks.
