Cooker fire woman given oxygen
AN ELDERLY woman was given oxygen therapy following a house fire in Lupset today (Monday).
Crews attended Grampian Avenue, Lupset Park at 10.17am to tackle a house fire involving a cooker. The house was heavily smoke-logged.
The elderly female occupant suffered from smoke inhalation and was given oxygen therapy by firefighters. An ambulance was called to check her over.
Crew manager Chris Davies said the victim was taken to hospital as a precaution.
