A GRAVE yard was closed off by police investigating allegations of a sexual assault in Crofton.

Officers were called to an address in the village at 1.27am on Saturday.

They sealed off the grave yard at All Saints Parish Church, on High Street, as part of the investigation.

But the allegation was later found to be false.

A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: “Officers investigated a report of a sexual attack which was later discovered to be a false allegation.”
