Customers praise city firm

CUSTOMER satisfaction was at almost 100 per cent when local authority supplier Yorkshire Purchasing commissioned a survey of its clients.

The firm, based Wakefield 41 Industrial Park, achieved a 'high' rating from 99 per cent of customers for its range of products and 98 per cent for customer service.

Independent customer feedback forum Feefo carried out the survey of online customers following a restructuring of the firm and appointment of its first board of directors, led by Barry Crowther.

Managing director Mr Crowther said Yorkshire Purchasing, the UK's largest local authority purchaser, would continue to focus on value for money and efficiency savings.

He said "Although we're extremely pleased with the results of the survey, we are committed to improving to exceed our customers' needs, and will continue to strive for 100 per cent customer satisfaction."
