KILLER Ahmad Otak was caught by police 250 miles away from the Eastmoor flat where he murdered two teenage girls.
He was caught in Dover trying to get a ferry to flee the country just before 5am on Saturday, March 9.
The night before he had stabbed 17-year-old Kimberley Frank to death in her flat on Barden Road.
Kimberley was the younger sister of his ex-girlfriend Elisa Frank, 19.
He had also stabbed her friend Samantha Sykes, 18, of California Drive, the death at the flat.

Afterwards he drove down to the south coast in an attempt to flee the UK and head to his home country, Afghanistan.
But he was stopped by Kent police who contacted their colleagues in West Yorkshire.
Officers broke down the door to the flat on Barden Road and found the bodies of the two young women.
An inquest found that they had both died from multiple stab wounds.
As part of the investigation police also cordoned off Elisa’s flat on near-by Linton Road.
The horrific murders left the community in shock and mourning.
Hundreds of their friends and family attended a memorial service at the girls’ former school in Horbury.
The school also dedicated a garden to their memory along with other former pupils who had died.
More than 1,000 joined a Facebook group set up by their friends to remember the girls by.
