Ahmad Otak appearing at Wakefield Magistrates Court charged with the murder of Samantha Sykes and Kimberley Franks.
AN asylum seeker has admitted murdering two women in Eastmoor.
Ahmad Otak, 19, has pleaded guilty to the killings of Samantha Sykes, 18, and Kimberley Frank, 17, on March 9 this year.
Their bodies were found at Miss Frank’s home in Barden Road a day later. Both had died from multiple stab wounds.
Otak, of Linton Road, Eastmoor, also admitted possessing a kitchen knife in Barden Road.
But he pleaded not guilty to the kidnap and false imprisonment of Miss Frank’s older sister Elisa Frank, 19.
Otak was further remanded in custody at Leeds Crown Court this morning until next month.
He is likely to face a life sentence.
