Emley man fell to his death on Ben Nevis

A HILLWALKER who fell to his death on Ben Nevis has been named by police.
Andrew Tedder, 49, an insurance agent from Emley, was descending the mountain, Britain’s highest peak, when he slipped from a tourist path and fell into a steep river gully at about 10pm on Friday.
Lochaber mountain rescue were alerted and found Mr Tedder in the ravine, but he had sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene.
