COMEDIAN and broadcaster Griff Rhys Jones will be the guest of honour at a Civic Society event.

Members of Wakefield Civic Society and their guests can enjoy a lunch time or afternoon talk with the Britain’s Lost Routes presenter.

Griff has been invited to host the event which has been organised by the Yorkshire and Humber Association of Civic Societies.

He is the president of Civic Voice and also presented the popular Restoration series for the BBC.

Tickets cost £17 for lunch and £5 for the afternoon session.

The event takes place at Leeds Art Gallery, on Thursday, November 15.
