Fire at pig farm in Wakefield

FIREFIGHTERS have been tackling a blaze at a pig farm.
Crews from across the district are still bringing the fire under control at Hollingthorpe Hall Farm, in Hall Green, Wakefield.
Up to 3,000 litres of cooking oil and 10 tonnes of plastic are thought to have caught fire in a farm building at about 6am this morning (Thursday).
Firefighters from Wakefield, Ossett, Dewsbury, Normanton and Barnsley are working with specialist crews from Hunslet, Garforth, Mirfield and Batley.
