Flooding closes roads in Wakefield

FLOODING has closed Denby Dale Road at the junction with Thornes Road.
Police have partially closed the road close under the rail bridge and are advising motorists to find alternative routes.
There is also flooding on Barnsley Road, close to the Harratts dealership, in Sandal.
Again there is a partial road closure in place and police are warning drivers to take care and find different routes or to avoid the area.
