FORMER football stars will make an appearance at a Wakefield pub on Tuesday.
Liverpool legend Ian Rush, and Peter Reid, who spent most of his playing career at Bolton and Everton, will take part in a Question of Sport-style pub quiz at The Wakey Tavern, on Lower Warrengate.
They will then do some punditry ahead of England’s game against Poland.
They have been appearing at pubs around the country for each of England’s four qualifying games, as part of the Carlsberg Ultimate Legends Experience.
Dean Ellis, manager of The Wakey Tavern, said he was looking forward to the evening.
He said: “It is fantastic to win such a fabulous prize. To host Ian Rush and Peter Reid before an England World Cup qualifier is an honour.”
The activities start at 6.30pm, but people have been advised to get there early to make sure they get a seat.
