Heavy snow forecast tonight in Wakefield
The Met Office has forecast heavy snow and ice tonight.
An amber weather warning said the snow would start to fall at about midnight in Wakefield and continue into the early hours of tomorrow morning.
It said up to 15cm could fall in a six-hour spell.
Temperatures are expected to drop to 0°C, and it said roads and pavements could be icy tomorrow morning.
