Kettlethorpe High School Pupils set to put on a show
In 1987, whistle-blowing social worker Margaret Humphreys exposed an horrific child migration scheme, which saw 150,000 British children forcibly taken from their parents and shipped around the world.
Children at Kettlethorpe High School will take to the stage with a play based on this true story next week. Empty Cradles will run from Thursday, March 21 until Saturday March 23 at 7.15pm.
Tickets cost £6 for adults and £4 concessions. They are available on the door or by calling 01924 303510. Log on to www.wakefieldexpress.co.uk for a video of rehearsals.
