M62 closed due to accident

Motorists are facing long delays on the M62 due to an accident.

The eastbound carriageway between junction 34 and junction 35 has been closed while a vehicle is recovered.

There are currently delays of around 20 minutes between the M18 and A1, but drivers could face longer delays as traffic builds up.

The road is expected to re-open from 6pm tonight (Friday).
