A MAN is fighting for his life after being found in Thornes Park.
The 51-year-old man was found by a couple walking their dog at around 5.30pm on Monday.
Police said the man may have been assaulted, but have been unable to talk to him.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance, where police said he remains in a critical condition.
Detectives now want to trace the couple who found him and stayed with him until the ambulance arrived.
They are described as being white and in their 30’s or 40’s and were walking a short haired, tan-coloured dog.
