Man taken to hospital after house fire in Ossett

A man was taken to hospital following a house fire in Ossett at the weekend.

Firefighters from Ossett and Dewsbury, were called to a bedroom fire at 2.15am on Saturday.

The fire was out when they arrived, and the man aged 50 was taken to hospital by ambulance, suffering from smoke inhalation.
