Met Office issues ice warning for Wakefield
ROADS and pavements could become dangerous as freezing conditions will continue tonight.
The Met Office is forecasting icy surfaces tomorrow morning as today’s snow freezes over.
Temperatures are expected to drop to -3°C tonight.
The severe weather warning said: “As temperatures fall below freezing on Monday night into Tuesday morning icy stretches are likely on untreated surfaces especially in areas where any further sleet, snow or rain has fallen on Monday.”
