Park turns pink for Wakefield’s Race for Life

A SHOWERY start didn’t put off thousands of women donning tutus, pink T-shirts and cowboy hats for this year’s Race for Life.

More than 3,100 women ran, jogged or walked 5k around Thornes Park at the annual event, which raises money for Cancer Research UK.
