Pensioner molestor locked up for four years

A 13-YEAR-OLD Wakefield boy who molested a 75-year-old grandmother in her own home has been locked up for four years.

The Wakefield Express can reveal that it was Luke James Sharp who sexually assaulted Rosemary Pagett on July 3.

Mrs Pagett of Mulberry Place, Ryhill, died 10 days later from complications arising from a stomach ulcer.

Reporting restrictions were lifted when Sharp was sentenced at Leeds Crown Court today (Monday) after the Express challenged the order.

At an earlier hearing Sharp pleaded guilty to a charge of sexual touching.

Please check this website later and Friday's Wakefield Express for a full report on the case.
