Lesley Ginnelly, 43, was last seen in Morley on Monday morning.
Mounted police and the force’s helicopter have joined today’s search in Wakefield.
Lesley was last seen at 9.15am boarding a bus on Victoria Road, Morley, heading for Morley town centre.
Police say they are growing increasingly concerned for the mother-of-three’s welfare and that her disappearance was extremely out of character.
Lesley, from Cottingley, in Leeds, is about 5ft 2ins tall, of medium build and has straight, brown hair.
She was wearing dark clothing when she was last seen.
