A SERIAL arsonist operating in Lupset is being hunted by police.

The suspect is believed to have been responsible for torching three cars last month.

And the latest incident took place on Tuesday when a Vauxhall Astra was destroyed at about 11.30pm on Townley Road.

Police said petrol was thrown on to all three cars before they were torched.
