Teenager seriously injured after being hit by a van in Kinsley

A teenage boy was seriously injured after being hit by a van last night.

A silver Vauxhall Combo van was in collision with the 14-year-old boy at the pelican crossing near Ford Street, Kinsley at around 6pm.

He was taken to Pinderfields General Infirmary with serious injuries and is currently in a stable condition.

Witnesses are asked to contact PC 474 Alan Patchett at the Southern Area Roads Policing Unit via 101.
