Tell us if you are doing something funny for Comic Relief
Adrian Cotterill and his wife Hilary of Alverthorpe re-enacting the Ministry of Silly Walks, made famous by John Cleese for Comic Relief
Schools, businesses and families are gearing up for a day of silliness to raise money for Comic Relief.
And we want to know what lengths you are going to support Red Nose Day, which this year has the motto ‘Do Something Funny for Money’.
A range of activities will take place across the city in the build up to Friday, March 15.
On Wednesday, March 13, staff at the Sainsbury’s store in Trinity Walk will be joined by Cathedral Academy pupils as they sell special buns while dressed as super heroes.
There will also be leg waxing, a head shave and a chop stick challenge where shoppers will try to get Maltesers into a bowl by using chop sticks.
Let us know what you are doing in advance and we will try and cover your event.
Or why not email, facebook or tweet us your pictures and videos?

Red noses and Comic Relief clothing are available from Sainsbury’s on Trinity Walk and Ings Road, and Kirkgate’s Oxfam.
