Thousands sign upfor new Yorkshire marathon

THOUSANDS of people have signed up to take part in a new Yorkshire marathon.
The Plusnet Yorkshire Marathon will take place on October 20 in York.
It is being organised by the Jane Tomlinson’s For All Events, which was set up by the Tomlinson family as a legacy to Jane who raised £1.5m before she died in 2007.
TV football pundit Chris Kamara is one of the famous Yorkshire faces backing the event, as well as Ddouble Paralympic gold medallist Hannah Cockroft.
