Two men suffer serious injuries in Crofton road smash on Shay Lane
POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a serious road traffic collision in Crofton.
Two men were taken to hospital with serious injuries following the incident that happened on Shay Lane at around 11pm on Saturday.
It involved a black silver Peugeot 106, which was travelling towards Crofton from Walton when it collided with a street light after going onto a grass verge.
The men, both aged 25, were taken to Pinderfields Hospital. Both are in a stable condition and their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Anyone who saw the vehicle beforehand or witnessed the collision is asked to contact the Southern area Roads Policing Unit via 101.
