WDH gets satisfaction
SOCIAL landlord Wakefield and District Housing (WDH) has reported a 94 per cent satisfaction rate with its telecare service.
A survey of tenants found satisfaction with the Care Link service, which helps elderly and vulnerable people live independently, was exceeded WDH’s 90 per cent target.
More than 90 per cent of more than 500 tenants who took part in the survey also said Care Link made them feel safe and reassured at home.
Care Link manager Barbara Sowerby said: “It is really important that we get our customers’ views and opinions on the services we offer them, whether it is good or bad.
“When we receive good feedback it gives us great satisfaction knowing that we are giving our customers the service they want to receive so that they have peace of mind and confidence to maintain their independence.”
The Care Link service is available to all tenants, regardless of age, lifestyle needs or where they live.
WDH said anybody who felt vulnerable could have a Care Link alarm fitted in their home.
